October 6th, 2007 BIKE ROUTE AND VENUE: Based out of Thunderhorse Ranch, the Show Low Bluff Tour of the White Mountains is provided with ample playing area to accommodate our guests to the highest level. Within a quarter mile of the ranch's main gate the Tour route commences winding its way through forest service land for the next 66 miles. Packed with single-track and the occasional jeep road, the undulating terrain maintains a very rideable characteristic allowing it to welcome the novice rider while challenging the most seasoned rider.

Hundreds of day-use sites will be removed from the fee program

WASHINGTON, June 9, 2005 -- U.S. Department of Agriculture's Forest Service today announced significant adjustments to its recreation fee sites nationwide, removing hundreds of day use sites from the fee program, which will result in a higher quality recreation experience for the American public.
